STUDY HABIT INVENTORY
INTRODUCTION
Psychological test are written visual or oral evaluation administrated to assess the cognitive and emotional functioning of the children and adults. Psychological tests are used to assess a variety of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement and ability, personality and neurological functioning.
For children academic achievement, ability and intelligence tests may be used as tools in tracking intellectual development. Intelligence testing may also be used with teens and young adults to determine vocational ability.
Personality test are administrated for a wide variety of reasons, from diagnosing psychopathology to screening job candidates. They may be used in an educational setting to determine personality strengths and weakness.
Psychological testing requires a clinically trained examiner. All psychological test should be administrated, scored and interpreted by a trained professional, preferably a psychologist or psychiatrist with expertise in the appropriate area. Psychological tests are only one element of a psychological assessment. They should never be used as the sole basis for a diagnosis.
Prior to the administration of any psychological test, the administrator should provides the child and child's parent with information on the nature of test and its intended use, complete standardise instruction for taking the results. After these disclosures are made, informed concent should be obtained from the child and the child's parent before testing begins.
INDIVIDUAL TEST
The main thing about studying well is to first study smart. Preparing for a test shouldn't involve studying up all night before an exam. Studying well requires preparation ahead of time. The key to becoming an effective student is learning how to st smarter not harder. With good study habits you will be able to reduce your stress and take exams with confidence.
While some students are able to take exams with high grade in school with minimal effort, this is the case of exception. The vast majority of successful students achieve their success by developing and applying effective study habits.
Why study habit important?
Effective study habits are very important in the learning process. Good study habits are all about keeping a daily routine and giving all subjects equal treatment. Hardwork and good study habits are the assets that should be nurchered in school students. Without good study habit, a student cannot succeed. Being organised and having hard work routine are the most important things in helping the student to develop good study habits for life. Effective study habits are a very important part of the learning process. Good habits are important for all students to protect investments of time and money and to achieve educational goals. Good study habits are essential to educational success and it is a great tool to have in the toolbox of life.
REPORT
As a part of B. Ed programme we have one month induction programme. We thirty two students allotted to NSS Boys school, Perunna. There we were engaged in eighth and nineth standard. The number of students participated in the test were 32. Study habit is required for every student. It is a main part in a student life. That's why I conducted the study habit inventory to know the study habit level of the class.
For this inventory I selected 8 B class the tool contained 35 statements. I used 3 scale scoring that is in the order 2,1,0 for positive questions and 0,1,2 for negative questions. Total score were 70,above 50 scored students 10 above 30 scored students 20 below 30 scored students 2.

CONCLUSION
Study habit inventory tested during our induction time. For this we selected 8B class. Students cooperation is the highlight of the test. From the study habit inventory we get the average. The average of the study habit score is 47. 0625 or 47. Through this inventory we get the opportunity to understand the students study habit level. It was a fine experience to understand the students with due attention and help them accordingly to the problems they are facing. Teachers get the information easily through this. Study habits must be considered very important thing, students must bring new study habits to improve their Learning level.

CONCLUSION
Study habit inventory tested during our induction time. For this we selected 8B class. Students cooperation is the highlight of the test. From the study habit inventory we get the average. The average of the study habit score is 47. 0625 or 47. Through this inventory we get the opportunity to understand the students study habit level. It was a fine experience to understand the students with due attention and help them accordingly to the problems they are facing. Teachers get the information easily through this. Study habits must be considered very important thing, students must bring new study habits to improve their Learning level.
